We have for sale a 1964 Bentley S3
This is another project car that we are intending to restore to its former glory but probably will not have the time to do so until late next year.
We are therefore offering the car in its “AS IS” condition now before we start work on it.
The car with the chassis number B 268 EC and the Engine Number BEC134 was registered in England under WVG 262 until it was sold by Coys in 1993 to the first of two owners in Germany who in turn sold the car to his friend in 2005.
The car is fitted with a KM/H speedo but the original M/H instrument is present.
We have a folder full of invoices and other documents from that period
The car is mechanically in a very good condition and over the past 13 years the previous owner spent in excess of €20,000 to maintain the car in perfect driving condition.
A very useful central looking system was fitted as well as a hazard warning light system.
The body is in need of some work with some blistering at the usual places around the wheel arches and the front window. The two front wings were at some stage repainted but the colour match is far from perfect and would need attention.
Chassis and underside are in very good condition
The interior would benefit from some TLC but there are no splits or cracks in the leather
The obligatory sheep skin rugs are present and the picnic tables are in good condition and they all work as they should.
